Gareth tries to create a warm welcoming environment for the whole family, as a nervous patient himself he is aware how important it is for you to feel comfortable and familiar with your dentist. In addition to providing general dentistry to a high standard, his interests include root canals, minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry and adult short term orthodontics providing either fixed braces, clear removable aligners or the Inman Aligner.
Gareth, who is originally from Wigan, qualified with BDS from Manchester University in 2011 and has since worked in general practice in Cheshire. Before this Gareth completed a degree in Sports Science with coaching at Sheffield Hallam whilst playing rugby for England Universities. In his spare time he enjoys going to the gym (to try!) to keep fit, boxing, yoga, swimming, travelling and eating out. Gareth is a big sports fan, especially rugby and a Wigan Warriors Rugby League supporter who tries to attend as many games as possible. He is also a lover of Italy, developed from summers teaching English over there, and he tries to keep on top of his language skills and visit every year. On a weekend you may often find him playing with his 2 kittens Bolt and Bella or his 1 year old daughter Amelia, watching rugby or walking in one of his favourite places, the Lake District. He is currently training hard to prepare for a charity boxing match for Cancer Research.
